Hill and Grist - how to make a Hemington family sound like hard work

My ancestor Mary Hill born 1763 in Somerset was always going to be a puzzle. And yet, we actually knew a fair bit about her, and could slot her into this Hemington and Leigh-on-Mendip family very easily. This tree is mostly a way to illustrate the huge quantity of relatives her sister Elizabeth had. Many are interesting enough, and quite unpredictable. For Mary's family they were smaller in number but we know a lot about them. The early Hills of Mells could take some reviewing - this was the plum in Little Jack Horner's pie, as readers may well know. Descendants please write! Count the number of Laurents... With thanks to the freeREG site for tumbling down this brick wall
