The materials covered are estate duty (or 'death duty') and successions records, for England & Wales 1796-1903, as listed. These are held at The National Archives: some up to 1857 are available on microfilm. Check the current status of the IR26 records on TNA’s catalogue – many may be unavailable for you to view.
