Arthur HOBDAY

  Noted events in his life were:

• Occupation: The Hobdays of Wellington built quite a number for Catholic churches, Gisborne, Napier and Hastings included, but he was agnostic. Partnership with George Fincham.

Arthur married Eliza Ann SPEED, daughter of William SPEED and Jane BIGGIN, in 1877 in Victoria AUS. (Eliza Ann SPEED was born in 1850 in Castle Cary SOM and died in 1912 in Wellington NZ.)
