• Occupation: 11 mo old 31 Mar 1851, was in South Africa by age ten. Returned to England by 1877 and was married from home of uncle J F Cotty, 1878 Bristol. Her husband was from Lancashire, they lived there briefly, before coming out to ZA.
• Occupation: Care of AS Cotty (AF Cotty?), 119 De Beers Road Kimberley 1900. Living with Mrs Golder (or Golden), 10 Kent Street, Salt River, Cape Town 1902 - presumably to escape Kimberley siege, perhaps with daughter(s). Source enlistment papers for her son.
Susan married John EASTWOOD, son of Ambrose EASTWOOD and Unknown, in 1878 in Bristol GLS. (John EASTWOOD was born in LAN, christened in 1855 in Habergham Eaves LAN and died after 1902 in ZAF.)
