• Occupation: living with Clarkes, Cooth, Ditcheat aged 19, 1881; was grocer in Castle Cary aged 23; sailed to Christchurch NZ Jun 1884 with wife and her sister, then straight on to Lyttelton NZ. Of Franklin 1890, Parnell 1896, Tuakau 1908.
• Occupation: he and his three unmarried daughters came to Sydney after his wife's death (1918). They were all then in their thirties and never married. Settled at Chatswood in 1930s where they all lived.
Albert married Louisa Ann WELCH, daughter of Richard WELCH and Ann FELTHAM, on 24 Jun 1884 in Castle Cary Wesleyan Chapel SOM. (Louisa Ann WELCH was born in 1853 in Broadfield Down SOM and died in 1918 in NZ.)
