Alfred married Selina Jane "Lena" HUTCHINS, daughter of Thomas HUTCHINS and Charlotte BOND, on 21 Aug 1894 in St Thomas Winchester HAM. (Selina Jane "Lena" HUTCHINS was born about 1869 in Shepton Mallet SOM and died on 10 Nov 1915 in Northenden CHS.)
