George ROBERTS

Noted events in his life were:

• Occupation: policeman Manchester 1861; wife Martha is described as 'married' 1881 and widow in 1901 - perhaps George is still living 1881. Not clear if he is the same George later living Dewsbury as this George has child born about 1862 with other woman (not Lancs).

George married Martha before 1857. (Martha was born about 1831 in Sibbertoft NTH and died in 1908 in Ashton under Lyne LAN.)
