Mary Tonkin Hichens

Noted events in her life were:

• Occupation: suspect she married in register office or in the (Methodist?) chapel where sister Harriet had wed; the mines were still productive and Methodism still active; her daughter married at the parish church though, maybe reflecting family's fairly high status.

Mary married William Samuel Chegwidden in 1859 in Helston, Cornwall, England. (William Samuel Chegwidden was born about 1829 in Sithney, Cornwall, England and died in 1898 in Sithney, Cornwall, England.)
