No he didn't! He married Sarah Coker (b c 1818 England), in Ontario (marriage not found) and had children including William M (1842-75), Susan G, Sarah, Mary E, Alfred Henry Scott Hill 1848-1914 physician, and granddaughter Eva A 1868. I am struggling to find descendants. Son Alfred is living with the Cokers and Downs in 1901, Brantford area Ontario. The Downs were presumably the descendants of Joanna Scott and her husband James Down, who did live in Brantford. Died 1899 Woodstock Ont, widower.
